Qatar Chemical Company Ltd. (Q-Chem) has recently organized its Qatarization 'Open Day', which was conducted from 16 to 18 September at its headquarters in Doha.

'Q-Chem Open Day' is annual event intended to attract and recruit more Qatari talents. It's part of company's commitment to the development of nationals and reach out to the community to achieve sustainable development which is in line with the Qatar National Vision 2030.

Open Day enhances Q-Chem's position as the preferred employer in the country. Successful candidates will have an opportunity to have a fulfilling career in one of Qatar's top companies in the sector. They will be part of a dynamic team of professional who pursue a common goal and contribute to their growth, professional development and integrity.

Many young Qataris turned out to attend three days event which started from 08:00am to 02:00pm. Commenting on the event, Nasser Jeham Al Kuwari, CEO for Q-Chem companies said "Q-Chem Open Day offers yet another opportunity to attract more Qataris to join one of the vibrant organizations in the country. Over years our Qatarization rate has increased and our efforts were recognized last year with the Qatarization Award (Best Qatarization Progress) in the Energy and Industry Sector. " He said

"Qataris have an opportunity to work in one of the three Q-Chem's operated facilities, in Mesaieed, Ras Laffan, and company's headquarters in Doha. Since its inception, Qataris have been able to progress towards company's leadership ranks. Today 41% of key positions in Q-Chem are held by Qataris who joined through our Qatarization programs."
