1 TP Sponsorship Program
Q-Chem offers a Sponsorship Program for Qatari students enrolled in QP’s TP program. Students can be sponsored at any level during the program. Upon graduation, students will join one of Q-Chem plants (Mesaieed or Ras Laffan) and will have a 3 years in-house certification program which will qualify them as a full-time maintenance Technicians/Process Operators
2 CNAQ Diploma Sponsorship Program
Q-Chem offers a Sponsorship Program for Qatari students enrolled in various Diploma Programs (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Process, and Process Automation) at CNAQ. Students will be sponsored for the 2-year Technician Diploma. Once they have graduated, students will join one of Q-Chem plants (Mesaieed or Ras Laffan) and will have a 3-year in-house certification program which will qualify them as a full-time Maintenance Technicians/Process Operators followed by a 2-year program for Sr. Technician/ Sr. Process Operator qualification.
If the students meet Q-Chem requirements and upon management approvals and the company’s needs, the students will have the opportunity to continue their studies to the 3rd year Technology Diploma at CNAQ.
3 QU/TAMU-Q/Overseas University Sponsorship Program
Q-Chem offers a Sponsorship Program for undergraduate students at various local/overseas universities –mainly QU and TAMU-Q-. Students will be selected based on the company needs. Once the student graduates, Q-Chem will start the employment process. Based on the organization’s needs and the successful completion of the recruitment formalities, the student will be recruited and a tailor made development plan will be prepared for him/her toward a target position at the organization.
4 PROGRESSION / DEVELOPMENT PROCESS
Progression and or Development plans (PDPs) are to be compiled for all Trainees, Developees and those staff identified by the Management as requiring further development (progressees). PDPs is conducted to Qatari employees who are fresh graduate from their one of the above-mentioned education programs or Qatari employees who is targeted to a higher position within the organization. The PDPs will provide a detailed list of time lined milestones, promotion plans, tasks, learning outcomes, and internal/external training required for the Qatari Developee/Trainee to become a holder of the target position.
